My Project

This printer will continue to enhance the engaging and print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place where my students feel included and comfortable. This is because I fill the room and their activities with visuals they can understand as they are non-readers at this time. My students are able to understand the symbols and they are much more meaningful when they are printed in color. There are particular programs that have words color coded so that students can understand things such as parts of speech as well as WH questions.

With the ability to print in color, my students will become much more independent as they learn the meaning of the symbols and pictures.

Much more quickly than trying to teach each student how to read words.

Thee hope is that having access to a color printer will give my students access to written word as well as their independence!
