My students are kindergarten through sixth graders in a mild-poverty school in Oklahoma.

My students are special needs in all ranges of abilities. They have a strong desire to learn. Our resource room focuses on math and literacy skills. My students need leveled, repetitive learning to have success.

My Project

My students need an iPad to build academic skills in math and reading. My students will be able to use educational apps specifically designed for their skill level. Whether a student is learning to write and identify letters or reading stories of interest, the apps will provide hands-on, repetitive practice. There are many apps that explore multiple grade level programs to encourage a better grasp of academic skills in literacy and math.

My students engage quickly with hands-on, high interest, educational apps.

They need individualized practice on their level to improve literacy and math skills. The iPad would provide motivation to practice essential academic building blocks.
