Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students often come from homes with multiple siblings and other family members also living with them. During the pandemic, they worked hard to attend online, but often times the internet service simply couldn't handle that number of people trying to learn. These materials will help in both social/emotional learning, providing things for my students with behavioral needs to use when looking to calm self down. The books are largely what I've requested, so that my kids can have materials and things to take home. Many items will go directly home with students and be theirs for the entire school year.
