This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students in this special education science class are incredibly special because of their resilience and unique learning needs. Despite challenges, they approach each day with curiosity and determination, and they support one another as they navigate chemistry and biology. They bring diverse strengths to the classroom, whether it's their creativity, collaboration, or persistence in understanding complex concepts.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card I’m requesting will allow me to purchase specialized academic science-based resources tailored to my students' needs.

These resources, such as hands-on activities, interactive science games, and simplified lesson plans, will offer engaging ways for students to grasp complex concepts. Visual aids, activity packs, and differentiated materials will provide more accessible learning opportunities for students who benefit from varying levels of support and presentation styles. These tools will allow me to customize the learning experience, making science more engaging and easier to understand.

The goal of this project is to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment where every student can connect with chemistry and biology. I want my students to feel empowered, confident, and excited about science. With the right resources, they’ll be able to build their scientific knowledge and develop critical thinking skills while enjoying the process of learning. This project will help them succeed academically and foster a lifelong curiosity about the world around them.
