I am a special education teacher, working for a small public elementary school. Our strong staff support includes parents and community who give continually to help our students. I feel so blessed to work in a school and district who are student-centered.

These supplies and resources will assist in learning and progressing. My classroom will have number lines, dry erase boards, and number dots for skip counting. The number lines are needed for students who need a visual for number identification and also formation of the numbers. The individual number lines are used to help students with adding and subtracting numbers. The number patches will be especially helpful for the older students who are learning skip counting to assist with multiplication. The students also respond well to completing math computation skills on their individual dry erase boards and playing "1,2,3...Show Me". These materials will have a positive impact on my daily math lessons.
