My Project

Hello! I am a first-year 7th and 8th grade special education teacher! I want to create a warm, welcoming, and organized space for my students when they start in two weeks and I am looking for your help to do so. My school focuses on having a calm-corner in each classroom to help students with self-regulate and come back ready to engage in learning. That is what the posters, pillows, and rug on my list are for! The other materials are primarily for organization and labeling. Having clear routines and procedures is especially important for students in special education. Having an organized and well-labeled space is critical for creating a stable classroom environment. Thank you so much for your support, I'm looking forward to a great school year!
