Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a small self contained class for special education students who are all nonverbal. We focus on life skills and social skills. These purchases (calculator, clock, cash register, pencils) would help facilitate real world experiences in the comfort of our classroom. We invite general ed students into our room to socialize and interact with our students since the general ed classes are too overwhelming for us. Our students love colors and decorations so I would like to decorate and match our school theme. This year is a jungle theme where we are "Wild About Learning".
