In a resource room like ours, we have a variety of different aged students with many different needs. One thing is certain though, our classroom is full of active students who love to move and learn.
From multisensory language and math, to social and emotional skill roleplaying, the students have shown time and time again that they retain more when movement is involved.
They are definitely a bunch of special and wonderful wiggly students!
My Project
I am a special education teacher who is hopeful for resources for my students move and learn and help with their sensory needs. Whether they are learning social emotional skills or math and reading, there are all kinds of students who benefit from a multisensory learning environment.
These sensory and flexible seating resources will be utilized in the special education resource room and to lend out to our elementary classrooms based on student need.
Thank you for your interest and help with this project, our students and I appreciate it!
