My Students

There is a Chinese proverb that says "To learn a language is to have on more window from which to look at the world." By learning another language my students are gaining a great understanding and appreciation for the world around them. They are gaining insights that broaden their world.

My students are incredible learners seeking a way to expand the world around them.

They are bright students who want to better understand their community and the communities around them. They desire to know more about themselves and those around them. By learning a second language they are connecting with others and breaking down barriers. They are becoming global citizens that are learning to be able to change the world.

My Project

In Spanish, you have to talk a lot in order to truly acquire the language. Online learning and Covid have made it hard for my students to have the confidence to do that. Having the headphones with a microphone will make it so my students can feel more confident in speaking and make it so they can be more successful in learning and obtaining the content and material.

Games are what drive my students.

After online learning and everything that has happened because of Covid, having games is a great way for my students to feel like they can learn and have fun. They love learning and games make help them stay engaged. As such I am always looking for more games for them to play that will help them enjoy and engage in class and learn Spanish in a fun and diverse way.
