My Project

Students having access to a paper copy of the novel Lions of Little Rock will help them to make connections between historical events and those things that are happening today. Those who don't know and understand the past are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Through their reading of the novel students will explore when is the right time to take a stand and will use their own critical thinking skills to determine what is important to them.

It is important for students to spend time away from computer screens and have access to actual books.
