Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please help support me in our speech therapy sessions in the school setting! I work with students from Pre-K through 6th-grade that have moderate to severe disabilities and having materials to provide them with language stimulating books and materials would be amazing.

The entire school population is low income, and all receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students are some of the most amazing and incredible people I know. They come to school excited to see their friends, teachers and ready to learn, regardless of the sometimes difficult situations from which they are coming.

They often come to school and do not have the supplies that they need. The teachers have the most generous hearts in giving them what they need. A little bit of help will go a long way!

My project would provide me and them with the materials needed to help enable me to provide language enriching lessons that stimulate them to think and learn. My students are so amazing and deserve to have language enriching materials.

My Project

My students want to succed; however, their language impairments inhibits their ability to successfully understand basic language concepts.

My project would provide me with the needed enriching materials that would enhance their learning.

My students are so amazing and deserve to have enriching and stimualting materials. A laminator at school along with articulation cards, language engaging books, and other hands-on materials for their individualized curriculum would enhance their learning. A hole punch and file folders would help out with organizing their needed materials.

My students with articulation and langauge impairments require extra time and repeated exposure to fully master the concepts being taught.

The materials I am requesting would give my students the extra support they need.
