Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 21 Pre-K students at our school in the Bronx. I used to have 14 students about 3 weeks ago but because of staffing issues within my school, they have condensed another pre-k class and have added 7 students to my class. My cute, loving and innocent 4 year old students now struggle to keep their personal belongings organized. My students need a structured learning environment where each of them has an equal opportunity to store their work, their bags and lunches. In addition, I am hoping that all of my students will have the opportunity to use their imagination in our dramatic play center.
