My Project

This state of the art video camera will help my students create high quality Spartan News episodes! My Spartan Media students create News episodes each week here at EMS to help keep students, staff, and community members engaged and updated on what's happening at EMS! Having professional equipment not only allows students to create high quality episodes, but it also exposes students to new forms of technology and teaches them real-world skills that are applicable after graduation.

The goal of this project is to provide students with the necessary technology to plan, record, edit, and create high quality News episodes.

This project aims at teaching students project management, exposing them to technology, and allowing them to take part in community engagement.

Spartan Media is completely student centered and the students not only plan out the episodes, but they also do all of the recording, editing, and posting. This teaches my students the values and skills of project management, journalism, community engagement, public speaking, technology integration, and so much more. I truly believe my students ability to create and edit such engaging episodes makes them special and gives them skills that can make them productive members of society.
