My Project

My kindergarten classroom is full of bright, curious, and eager Title I kindergarteners who are just beginning their journey into the world of reading and writing. They come to school each day excited to learn and it's my mission to make it as engaging, supportive, and effective as possible.

To build strong literacy foundations, my students need access to hands-on, interactive tools that support early phonics skills and fine motor development.

That’s why I am requesting engaging phonics games and LCD writing tablets. These tools will provide fun, hands-on learning experiences that are critical for young learners, especially those still developing basic literacy and fine motor skills.

The phonics games will help my students build key reading skills—like letter recognition, sounds, and simple word decoding—through play. These games turn learning into something joyful and interactive, which is especially important in a kindergarten classroom. The LCD writing tablets will give students a fun, eco-friendly way to practice writing letters, words, and sentences without the pressure of pencil and paper. They’re ideal for small group work, centers, or independent practice, and can be reused endlessly.

These resources will make a huge difference in my classroom, helping me create a literacy-rich environment where students feel confident, capable, and supported as they learn to read and write.
