My Project
Our STEM Lab is getting off to a great start. In the past, I have had many opportunities for robotics in the classroom, but over the years, our district has slowly phased out robotics and the devices that support those robotics leaving me with a cabinet full of robotics that are fun to look at, but impossible to use. Recently, I attended a conference and learned about the Sphero Indi; a fun, inclusive way for students to learn basic coding skills with a robot that uses no devices other than itself. This makes coding accessible again for our students.
We will use these robots to learn not only about coding, but also about speed and distance, inertia, pushes and pulls and so much more.
With your help, I can expand the horizons of our students here at Bay Haven by giving them opportunities with robotics.
