Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Traditional resources in the 21st century are just not enough to spark students' interest in learning. "Great teachers show their students how to move mountains for themselves." I want to open the minds of my students and empower them to reach their ultimate goals in the fields of Reading and Language Arts.
Most of my students are Hispanic.
They love to create and explore concepts through different genres. The majority of my students come from a low socioeconomic status, therefore many of my students don't have access to materials needed to have a rich print environment and exploration at home.
My Project
This project will promote creativity, imaginative storytelling, and language development with this unique and engaging storytelling set. Children will naturally collaborate and develop speaking and listening skills as they build their stories and role-play.
In addition, this Lego set is specially designed for storytelling Includes a variety of unique bricks and characters Includes three base plates and five double-sided background cards includes an activity card with inspirational teaching ideas.
At home, students can write stories they have created at school using concrete materials. Let's spark a child's imagination using creative concrete materials.
