My Project
Getting to choose your own book to read is the best way to spark joy when it comes to reading. Many of my students' only experience with reading are the required books and passages they read for a grade. They haven't had the opportunity to choose what they WANT to read, until now. These are the books my classes have hand selected.
These books represent the cultures and identities present within my room.
I want my students to see themselves in the literature, connect with it, and know they have the strength to achieve anything.
