How do we create an atmosphere where students learn to love to read? By surrounding them with vibrant and engaging text!
Although I have taught 4th grade for the last 8 years, this is my first year teaching in a new school district.
I would love to enhance my classroom library with engaging nonfiction to use during independent reading, small reading groups, and whole group lessons.
My Project
Scholastic News is written specifically for fourth graders and connects current events to our classroom curriculum. Student issues include important news items, vocabulary and geography skill builders, reading comprehension questions, and standardized test preparation.
Help provide students with personal copies of Scholastic News and you will transform our language arts curriculum with thrilling content across the subject areas combined with rich lesson plans, activity sheets and videos.
