How much does that item cost? What is my budget? How much change should I receive? Help my students develop financial literacy with a Kindle Fire!
I teach fourth grade in a high needs school district.
Most of my students have never had the opportunity to use a Kindle Fire. They are eager to try new types of software and technology. A Kindle Fire would ignite their enthusiasm for learning financial literacy.
My Project
The Kindle Fire would enhance our math program with its wide library of free and low-cost math apps such as Peter Pig's Money Counter, Learn to Count Money, and Stock Investing. Textbook companies are starting to publish e-reader versions of their textbooks as well which will save our district money in the long run and will cut back on the amount of paper we need to use throughout the school year.
A Kindle Fire would be a wonderful tool in our classroom and would be used in all subjects across the curriculum.
Your donation can impact many students to come. Thank you for considering our project.
