Spanish Readers to Support Language Proficiency

Help me give my students 12 new Spanish novels to read during our bi-weekly silent reading time.

My Project

Reading in a language is one of the best ways to improve overall proficiency. Even in introductory language classes, silent reading can make a big impact on our students' progress. I am asking for Spanish readers made for Spanish language learners to help my students improve with communication. Each of these novels is specifically written for language learners in mind. They include glossaries in the back of each novel for students to be independent readers and they limit the number of words or grammar structures used to provide repetition, aiding the comprehensibility.

My students crave choice and providing a wide variety of readers will ensure that all students not only enjoy the reading process, but are engaged and learning.

Not all students are alike and I hope that I can hook their interest and keep them reading not only in my class, but maybe in other languages as well.
