Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having books in Spanish will be a powerful resource for both my students and their families. Many of my students come from Spanish-speaking homes, and providing books in their native language allows children to read confidently and easy access to our little library. It will also allow them to stay connected to their culture. It also gives parents the opportunity to read with their children, support their learning at home, and feel more involved in their child’s education. Spanish books help strengthen family bonds through shared reading and make learning more accessible and meaningful for everyone.
