This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second grade students enjoy their independent reading time during our Spanish class. I am a second grade teacher who teaches Spanish reading, science and social studies.

By providing my students with Spanish grade level books we can support and encourage their native language.

I want to upgrade my classroom library to include similar resources that they have in English to also be able to have them in Spanish. This project will help my native Spanish speaking students to have a deeper understanding to what is being taught in class.
