My students need a Easy-Access Big Book Rack and No-Climb Bookstand in order to have their favorite big books at their fingertips.

Now, where in the world is that book?! Please help us have big books at our little fingertips! My school is in the "heart" of the city and we service students of all races, creeds, and economic opportunities. We are also a host school in our city for those students who are residing at local shelters. I am a first grade teacher whose philosophy about reading is for my students to not just learn how to read but to become READERS!

I use a ton of big books for my instruction. Big books are an intricate part of my classroom. With the help of DonorsChoose, my big book collection has grown. I need to be able to have these books at their fingertips so that they can read them. Big Books - Big readers!

With a bookcase and easy-access rack, my students will be able to see the covers of the books and be able to get to the one he/she wants with ease.

Your help with this proposal will ensure that my students have these big books at their disposal and encourage young readers to help themselves.
