My Project
My first grade class is in need of a space to calm their bodies and minds. Currently a small space is available but to make this area useful we need materials. Even though the students know where to go to calm their bodies it needs to be identified as a special space with charts and pictures to help them notice their emotions. To also provide additional weighted blankets, timers, Social Emotional books, and a furniture to hold these items is essential to making this calming space successful.
