My Students
Physical Education is important to all students! When students are able to play, laugh and have fun, they learn better!
Our school is K-5.
Students have different skill levels throughout the building. All students should have the opportunity to play and experience a wide variety of games, build relationships with their peers, and create a sense of community while MOVING and having FUN!
When students have the chance to play on a daily basis, they are able to experience physical activity in a positive way. Physical activity and exercise helps build brains cells, too!
As a free and reduced-price lunch school, many of our students don't have the opportunity to participate in activities outside of the traditional school day. Our physical education classroom provides students with opportunities to play and experience activities they may not normally be involved in outside of school.
My Project
Our students love to participate in Physical Education! We are asking for 9", 12" and 18" cones to help our students understand where their boundaries are inside the gym during game/activity play or outside on our field. Most importantly, we need more cones to help keep our students spaced correctly when they are in line, practicing their throwing or kicking back and forth or waiting in line to head back to their classroom.
We want our students to be safe!
The different color cones help us specifically tell our students where they should go to start an activity, line up at the end of class or where to put the equipment. The different colored cones are a necessity in PE!
