My classroom is very small and we are required to have a certain amount of furniture and centers, including two sensory tables. The regular size sensory tables are not doable anymore. I saw these smaller sensory tables and know they will fit perfect in the classroom.
Sensory play is so important in preschool.
Through sand or water play the children learn several skills. Their gross and fine motor skill improve, they learn math by measuring and counting, science, language and social skills. I know how important it is to have these in the room and with this smaller table the children will have the ability to have room to explore.
