My Project

My students are "turtle-ly" terrific tots. I serve as a special education teacher in a high needs kindergarten classroom. Our current learning environment is outdated and does not fit my students. Recently we started working of updating our space with furniture and supplies that are fresh, fun, and fit my students. The class chose the theme of turtles, thus why I say my students are turtle-ly terrific. We need a small group table so I can effectively work with a group at students. We need the requested table to allow for a small group to work with the teacher at a table that fits the size of early education students.

Every day in our class we have learning times that are computer based.

Many of my students cannot afford comfortable quality headphones to use while they are independently working on their tablets. The requested headphones will provide my students comfort, quality, and fun. The headphones are green to match our class theme of being turtle-ly terrific.

Our class of turtles are: Trusting- United – Respectful – Thoughtful – Learning – Engaged – Safe. Please help me give this group of terrific tots a learning environment that will inspire them. Students do better when they have a fun learning environment and know that others care about them.
