Our team is growing! We have 24 dedicated science lovers that would like to be able to get together with like minded students and CREATE.
Our students range from 6th-8th grade and will be preparing for 2 competitions against other schools.
The events are held in February and March so they will be active the next few months during practices on Mondays after school.
Students will be paired with one other student so they can work together and go through the engineering process from start to finish.
My Project
After a successful first season, our Science Olympiad is aiming to create a great experience for our science and engineering lovers. Science Olympiad engages these students in experiences that they do not have in the classroom.
Your help with assist us with giving these students the necessary tools and materials to do our "build" projects.
Students will work in teams to prepare for their competition and create items such as a battery powered buggy, a boomilever, a rubber band glider, thermodynamics kit, and other fun events. One of the benefits of helping supply these materials is students do not need to worry about gathering their own materials which increases their chance of success.
