My Students
The students in my classroom are in a small, inner-city charter school. The class is in a very diverse Title I school. The class is very small and is a blended first/second grade class. This year I will loop with my first graders and I have been lucky to have my second graders for three years in a row.
My students love coming into the classroom and are excited to learn.
They work hard to learn to manage their own learning and their own behaviors. One of the favorite shares in the classroom is who is being a good citizen.
My Project
This year, my school has gone to a 1 to 1 technology focus. Each student has their laptop so that they are able to perform various technology requirements through the school week.
I would like to acquire quality headphones to further assist my students in carrying out their daily technology activities.
These activities include, listen to reading through razkids, quizzes and exit tickets in Google Classroom, and math and reading standards practice on various websites.
Since my students are small, in ear buds have not worked well because of their size or quality. The carrying cases will help so that students will not lose or break their new head phones easily.
