This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This first year after being quarantined due to the pandemic was a particularly difficult year for my kindergarten students to acclimate because we were basically in our classrooms the majority of the time. Now that the spring time has arrived and many of the restrictions are being lifted we are able to be more mobile around campus. I would like help with a new portable Smart speaker so that learning can continue regardless of our location. My students are eager to begin having learning experiences outdoors, in the cafeteria, and in the gym and this speaker would allow them to do that. They would also like to have invite their families to the campus to see them perform plays, and other academic programs outside of the classroom and this speaker will most definitely help them in providing the sound system needed in achieving this.
