My Project

Like many students with autism and developmental delays, my students are often sensitive to loud noises. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them who make a lot of noise! Part of learning how to be successful in handling the little things that come our way is practicing, but everybody needs a break!

I'm hoping that these materials will help my students keep the noise level down overall, and also help them handle the noise when it does get loud.

Having a low sensory input tent, a set of white noise headphones, and the noise-warning traffic light will help maintain a calm, quiet(er) environment and make the classroom a nicer place for us all!
