This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Ever try to talk to someone in a busy, noisy place? At our school, music and other sound recordings are going on at the same time as classes are trying to do quiet activities.
Having a soundproof or at least an area where we can dampen the sound is essential for our students to create podcasts, videos, and play music.
We are a STEAM school, we encourage innovative, creative multimedia projects as well as have many activities in music where the students are playing instruments. We have a Latin band that also practices. All of these activities are done either in the makerspace or in the music room which are right next to regular classrooms and counseling spaces.
