Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Las Vegas, Nevada students are looking to upgrade their live sound equipment for school performances, assemblies, and concerts. We are also trying to kick start recording technology during our after school music club and would really benefit from a recording interface for music production.
Our current sound equipment is ready for retirement, at times unreliable and some of the components have stopped working altogether.
A Bose S1 Pro speaker would allow our performing groups to set up in a snap and could provide our audiences with high tech clarity of our music.
We are also in the process of kick starting recording technology in our after school music club. We currently use BandLab, which is a free cloud based recoding application but it comes with limits, and sometimes latency which makes it difficult to record at times. Having a dedicated interface with its own software would allow us to record with greater ease and very little computer latency.
