My Students
The students at SRES love coming to music and band classes. They crave new experiences and new instrumental options that come with finally entering the band room! 4th graders have the unique experience of trying flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and percussion instruments. As they enter 5th-8th grades, they may choose an instrument and be a part of the band!
It is my wish to provide the most enriching musical experience possible for all students at SRES.
Through Donor's Choose, we will be able to provide students with access to more instruments and materials, expanding their musical experience by allowing for exploratory of new instruments as well as filling their ensembles. Please consider supporting music and band at SRES through these unique and special experiences for the students.
My Project
We study the percussion family extensively each year during our 4th-grade studies, yet we do not have our own school set of practice pads, leaving the students with sticks, but nothing to drum on. These practice pads will help us in our percussive quest to experience as many instruments as we safely can during this 2020 school year. Percussion has become a huge focus this year given the current climate. The students would love the opportunity to put their newly learned skills to work! Help us bring the drums to life through these practice pads.
