This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students seem to be fully engaged with videos that we watch in class when the sound quality is above average. At my school we have Smart TVs that have poor quality speakers. If I were to obtain quality speakers/headphones I believe that enthusiasm and overall participation in class will increase.
I teach at a continuation school where students need a little bit more motivation to be successful in the classroom.
These items will go a long way to boost motivation in my U.S. History and Personal Finance classes. In U.S. History we have current events that we watch in class as well as Historical Documentaries that we watch in class. These assignments will be enhanced with your donations. In my Personal Finance class there are videos that students watch to learn how to manage their finances effectively. The headphones will be useful for the students to be successful on these assignments. Thank you for your time, it is greatly appreciated. Our students are awesome, they will love the new additions to my classroom.
