My Project
Multimedia arts is a new course pathway at my school. This series of courses guides students through creating work in different forms, from animation, to photography, to videos. It's amazing to see students go from "I don't know how to do this" to "I can't believe I made this" in just a few weeks.
Because this is a new pathway, we are still trying to build our stable of technology.
Right now, we just have built-in computer or camera microphones to produce audio, which doesn't result in high-quality content. This project would fund two podcasting microphones and headphones, which students can use to create audio-only or A/V projects. We have two breakout spaces in the classroom, so this would allow both to be used as potential recording areas.
