This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom can get very loud very quickly between students, devices and activities. One way to allow students to continue working relatively undisturbed is to provide students headphones, so that they can work on individual assignments, videos, and research without generating so much noise that they disturb those around them.
For this project we want to try to get enough pairs of headphones to make sure that every student in the class has a pair that needs them.
Sometimes something simple like a pair of headphones might sound like a trivial item, or it might sound like something that everyone has. Often I have found that sometimes the smallest items are the ones that students do not have, or need the most. That is why we want to prepare enough sets for the whole class, so regardless of whether or not they have a personal pair of headphones, they will have one available for them in class.
