My Project

I have the great pleasure of working with our Cross Categorical students in our special education department at OLE My students need hands-on activities and manipulatives in order to meet their needs.

The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in reading.

The sound mapping boards will help my students visually see how to encode or spell words and to decode or read words. These boards also include visual flash cards to help students learn the sounds and letters needed to make the words. By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
