This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my 5th grade classroom, organization is more than just keeping papers in order. It is a key part of developing strong executive functioning skills like responsibility, planning, and time management. Each day, my students are responsible for turning in assignments, collecting important handouts, and managing classroom jobs. All of this requires a consistent, dependable system.

A set of individual classroom mailboxes will provide each student with a personal space to organize materials, track their progress, and build the independence they’ll need for middle school and beyond.

With your help, we can create a smoother, more structured learning environment where every student has the tools to succeed, one organized mailbox at a time.
