My Project
Providing my students with soprano recorders will have a meaningful and lasting impact on the musical education of my third-grade students. At this stage in their development, students are eager to explore creativity and self-expression, and music is a powerful outlet for both. Providing each child with their own recorder gives them the opportunity to actively participate in hands-on music making, which strengthens fine motor skills, listening abilities, and early music literacy. These skills are foundational—not only for future music education, but also for critical thinking and concentration in other academic subjects.
By contributing to this fundraiser, donors are helping to create a more engaging and equitable classroom experience.
Many students do not have access to musical instruments at home, and having their own recorder ensures every child can practice and progress equally. It also fosters a sense of ownership and pride in their learning. With your support, our students will gain confidence, develop a lifelong appreciation for music, and experience the joy of making music together. Your generosity will echo far beyond the classroom.
