This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Brrr. It's cold outside! My fourth graders and I are fortunate to live in sunny San Diego with mild winters. We're not used to the cold weather, so when the temperatures drop it's definitely freezing to us!

It's a joy and gift to spend my days with thirty-two academic scholars and kindness champions!

Cranking up the heat in our bungalow keeps us toasty, but it doesn't stop our lips from losing moisture and feeling dry and uncomfortable. Students will appreciate knowing our nurse's kit has a supply of moisturizing lip balm for those who need it.

Aaa-choo! Thirty-two fourth graders go through plenty of Kleenex during the winter season.

Ahh! Students will relax their shoulders and put aside any before school challenges when they walk through our classroom door greeted by the aroma of lavender and peppermint. The lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils simply soothe the soul.

Thank you for caring about my students! I think they’re the BEST in the WEST!
