My students need a printer for the classroom. My physically challenged class uses adaptive technology to do most of their work. A printer gives them a final product.

My Students
Do you remember what it was like taking home your first picture or test that you worked so hard on? What a great feeling it is to go home and give your mom or dad that "A." My physically handicapped students do not often get this opportunity. A printer will help with this problem.
The students in my classroom are physically handicapped.
Most of the students use adaptive technology to write or do art. They can not hold a pencil but they can use a finger to write or do art. The problem is we can not print out the work. A printer would give the students the opportunity to take home a concrete sample of their work.
My Project
My physically challenged students use adaptive technology tools to finish their work, much the way most people use a pencil or pen. My classroom has three laptops and two tablets to help the students achieve their potential. The students are very hard workers and are very proud of their achievement. A printer would give the students the opportunity to hang their work around the school and take it home to their parents.
A printer is important for the students to continue to produce the same products that the other students do.
The students are encouraged to be as independent as possible. The printer would allow them to take more control of their own work.
