My students need some sporting equipment to be able to play some of our games. We just had to throw out some old and are looking to get some new to be able to enhance our class!

My Students
We are a Title I school. Title I money can go to math and language arts, not PE. We are a very diverse population of lower to middle socioeconomic status.
Our students range from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
The neighborhood they live in is made up of trailers that are about 40 years old, manufactured homes, and then there are some homes that are newer with 2 car garages. They have hearts of gold and deserve to have the items necessary to meet our curriculum.

My Project
My physical education classroom is a revolving door for equipment. When the used items need to be replaced, they can get dangerous to use. So, I need to go through and REPLACE the old with the new.
We are looking to replace some birdies for badminton, replace some of our game throwing balls (dodgeballs, but we do not play dodgeball with them, we use them for target games), a couple of easily stored and portable soccer goals, and pickleball paddles that are cracked and need replacing.
We are also looking to add to our fitness classroom. We will be adding jumping blocks and a fitness rope that will be great additions!
The "something old" equipment will be replaced and the "something new" will be used for our fitness room! The jump boxes will make a great addition to our fitness room and we look forward to having portable goals that are easily stored and birdies that are not broken to use when playing badminton!
