This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a general music and choral teacher, I teach students between the ages of 3 and 14-that's a wide range! Some of the older elementary students are growing fast, and I would love to have other seating options to make my students comfortable. I also want to have a fully stocked prize box for these students when they go above and beyond in the music room.

I would love to have more options for flexible seating and tangible incentives like a squishy or a pencil for my students.

I have students that achieve above grade level, below grade level, have 504s, IEPs, or are talented and gifted...and they all deserve to have a comfy place to sit and be rewarded for their extra effort in the classroom.
