Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items requested will make a difference in the learning of all my students. When a student has a simple cut, needs to check temperature, or has pain to the muscles, the items requested can help treat the reason they stepped out of the class. As soon as the assessment and treatment is provided the student can go back to class where he will not focus on the health problem but the lesson being provided by the teacher.

My goals are for all the items requested to be provided.

We have a low budget that can not provide us with all the needs the student requires in the school nurse's office. As a school nurse I want to have the basic essential materials each school year to help the students.

My students are special in many ways. They are sweet an innocent but live in a poor region area right above the Mexican boarder. The majority of the students do no have medical insurance and they see the school nurse as their medical provider. All student need proper medical care all the time and that is what I want to obtain by having the proper materials for all my special students.
