There are 30 third grade students that will be entering my classroom in September for the first time. These students will be experiencing a new teacher, new classroom and new curriculum quickly. These students need support in order to be successful in their new grade, and new classroom.
These students come from all different backgrounds and all different abilities.
They need new supplies and resources to share as they work together to build a diverse community of acceptance and friendship.
My Project
The students in my class will use the math manipulatives and games in order to have an opportunity to apply what they have learned in class to real life situations, as well as use hands-on manipulatives. The math games in a can, and math folder games are manipulative games that challenges students and keeps them engaged while learning. My project will make a difference in my classroom by keeping my students engaged in learning.

Every student learns in a different way, some by seeing, some by seeing and some by doing. These items will help to reach the different learners in my class.
