This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, so eager to learn, and full of energy! Each student comes from a variety of backgrounds and has unique learning needs. My classroom is set up to meet these needs through a variety of learning strategies such as group work, alternative seating, sensory items, etc! They are truly such an incredible group and I am so proud to be their teacher!

My Project

My students love all kinds of puzzles which are great activities to help with fine motor skills, following directions, identifying colors, and sooo much more. They also love any kind of hands on activity and get so excited about new science experiments. Additionally, we are been learning about maps and globes and they will be SO excited to have hands on activities and puzzles related to this topic.

This project will lead to increased engagement in learning, opportunities to build social skills, and new activities that will keep things interesting and exciting for my students!

All of these items will be used daily and my students will greatly benefit from them. They will be SO excited about these new activities! Thank you for supporting our classroom.
