This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my geometry classroom, I plan to use my tablet as an interactive teaching tool to bring math concepts to life. Whether I’m demonstrating how to construct angles, analyze transformations, or explore geometric proofs, the tablet allows me to project my work in real time, making it easier for students to follow along and engage with the material. I also use apps to model 3D shapes and show dynamic changes to figures, helping students visualize complex ideas more clearly. Beyond the classroom, I integrate the same technology into coaching football—drawing up plays, analyzing formations, and teaching strategy with precision and clarity. The tablet bridges both worlds, making learning and coaching more interactive, efficient, and impactful.

In addition to using the tablet for direct instruction, I also give my students the opportunity to use it for hands-on practice with geometry problems.

With interactive math apps and digital tools, they can complete practice sets, manipulate shapes, and receive instant feedback on their work.
