Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Nobody likes to write with a dull pencil, especially when it distracts from their learning.
I teach first, second and third grade Special Education students in a small Title 1 school.
My students are eager to learn, but get easily distracted when their pencils break. They get up out of their seats and disrupt others which takes away from our learning time.
My Project
With a durable, heavy duty pencil sharpener, pencils will be sharpened quickly and efficiently. Students will be able to quickly get to the point and then return to their studies. The pencil sharpeners they have now take up much time and effort and often break the pencils more.
Your donation to my project will greatly help my students stick to the point and complete their writing projects.
They will not be distracted by dull or broken tips again. More time will be spent on their learning tasks.
