Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The history and methodology of forensics are fascinating, and we would love to bring it to life by implementing hands-on activities.
We will use these forensic kits to identify a mystery murderer, by analyzing hair, fibers, fingerprints, simulated urine, and handwriting evidence.
We intend to review the theory behind the different forensic techniques and have the students complement their learning with experiential activities. This would only be possible if we are able to get these kits for them.
Our students come from different backgrounds and many of them do not have the means to be exposed to handling specialized equipment and chemical reagents otherwise. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
